At Andover Country Club we offer world-class golf instruction and expert club fitting. It is our goal to reach members of all skill levels to help improve their golf and overall experience.

Elvis Taraskiewicz is our Director of Instruction. He is a PGA Master Teaching Professional and has many golf certifications. Elvis has been at several high-end private golf facilities in his career and brings to Andover a wealth of knowledge. He specializes in player development and is committed to helping students of all levels to improve their game. Elvis is especially skilled at educating the player about their own swing. Those who have worked with Elvis can attest to his expertise and dedication.

Bob Briggs, (Coach Bob) has over 30 years coaching various sports of all age groups. Bob’s teaching philosophy is to keep your swing and game of golf as uncomplicated as possible. Bob believes in developing a sound and repeatable golf swing so players can enjoy the game and score better. He will give you a better understanding of your current abilities and the best approach to improve. He tailors each lesson to the student and their abilities.

Brian Strzempek is a scratch player and most recently qualified for the 2021 Mass Public Links. He has over 5 years experience as a club fitter. Brian focuses on teaching fundamentals that cater to the student’s personal swing. He encourages players to play to their strengths, while improving all aspects of their game including putting, short game, long game, etiquette and course management.

CJ Talbert has extensive experience in both club fitting and golf instruction. He has been club fitting since its inception back in the early 90’s and has worked with several club manufacturers through the years to enhance the process, including developing manuals and software. It is his belief that expert club fitting should be a free service to our members. As a teacher of golf, he has been very fortunate. He has watched his junior golfers grow up to play golf on the PGA Tour. CJ has given members lessons which have resulted in friendships for life. He has been fortunate to befriend tour players Brad Faxon, Brett Quigley, Rich Beem, J.P. Hayes, Arjun Atwal, Chris Baryla and Kristi Albers. They have allowed him to assist in their practice preparations for PGA and LPGA Tour events over the years. He carried his PGA Tour instructor credentials for 6 years while working with players. For CJ, it is personally fulfilling to teach golf at so many different levels.
